The name "Condor" showed up first time between 1880-1890 on lamps, produced by "Goosens, Pope & Co" in Venlo, Holland. In 1920 the company was taken over by Philips Gloeilampenfabrieken, Eindhoven. Condor tubes were not only produced in Holland but also in England and Australia. In the 1920th the brand "Condor" was mainly used for export to British Comenwealth States, Australia and New Zealand. Many types were identical with types from Philips. All types start with "PR", which was probably from "Philips Radio" The further down displayed PR12 I have obtained from New Zealand. Further informations see: TCA, Dec. 2002, page 2.
