Zu Amrad kann ich derzeit nichts sagen. Ich weiß nur, dass sie aus USA stammen. Das Unternehmen hieß offensichtlich American Radio and Research Corporation Es wurde 1914 von Harold J. Power gegründet. 1925 ging es in Kunkurs. Man baute während des ersten Weltkrieges Funkgeräte für das Militär. Daneben entwickelte man eine fadenlose Röhre, die Amrad "S" Tube. Man betrieb dort auch die Rundfunkstation WGI, die Mitte 1915 ihren Berieb aufnahm. Sollte jemand etwas mehr darüber wissen, so bitte ich um eine Nachricht. Die nachfolgend abgebildeten Röhren befinden sich in meiner Sammlung. Wenn jemand etwas zu den Typen sagen kann, bitte ich um Nachricht. I don`t know anything about Amrad, just that the tubes are comming from USA. The company name was apparently: American Radio and Research Corporation The corporation was founded by Harold J. Power in 1914 and was forced to declare bankruptcy in 1925. They manufactured during WW I radio equipment for the U.S. Government. Among the contributions of this Corporation to the Radio Art is its development of Vacuum Tubes without a filament, the AMRAD "S" Tube. The radio Station WGI was owned by the company and started its first transmission in the middle of 1915. If anybody has more details, please send a mail.
